Ladybug – The Adventures of a Ladybug
In the sequel to the bestselling book, Ladybug: The Adventures of a Ladybug, we follow the young hero, a magical creature, as she fights the evil Mrs. Mendeleiev and saves her sister Tikki. In this exciting adventure, we meet a magical woman called Plagg, who wants to capture Plagg and Tikki. The two magic creatures have a dangerous secret that Ladybug must guard at all costs.
Cat Noir visits Ladybug, only to find out that she has lost her beloved Tikki. In her panic, Ladybug tells Cat Noir not to look for her, instead focusing on the kwami-buster. In an effort to protect Ladybug and Paris, Hawk Moth zaps her with the canister and pulls her kwami out of her earrings. Eventually, the kingpin is able to destroy the billboard, allowing Ladybug to escape unnoticed.
As Ladybug’s kwami grows stronger, she transforms the kwami of her enemy, the Hawk Moth. She subsequently turns them into Sapotis – monster-themed supervillains. In the end, the Hawk Moth is defeated by Ladybug, enabling her to rescue the kwami. Similarly, if she had a kwami with her, she would be in the position to use it to defend her.
In the season three premiere, Lila becomes antagonistic towards Marinette, avenging her sister and trying to regain her power. After being akumatized, Lila becomes a Chameleon, a magical creature who can change into anyone just by kissing them. However, she enrages Kagami by sharing a picture of Adrien kissing Adrien. She then convinces the villain to destroy Ladybug and her magic.
In The Battle of the Miraculous, the Ladybug has seven kwamis. They are also known as Tikki. As a kwami, Tikki is the pet of a ladybug. It is an active kwami, which means it can collect items from the outside world and give gifts to inactive ones. It is very important to protect your kwami from the evil forces.
The second ladybug kwami is Fluff. It is voiced by Ryan Bartley in the English dub, and Celine Melloul in the French dub. She is bound to Rabbit Miraculous, a pocket watch that can travel through time. It appears to be a nod to the White Rabbit from Alice Adventures in Wonderland, where the character obsesses over being late.
Ladybug’s cousin, Roaar, is a kwami of exaltation. She is voiced by Sandy Fox in the third season and Caroline Combes in the French version. She is bound to the Tiger Miraculous, a panjas bracelet. The kwami’s power manifests in a form known as Clout, which can send a person flying. It also allows Juleka to transform into a Purple Tigress.
