Ladybug Wiki is a comprehensive resource for the CGI animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. The wiki is maintained by fans and contains information about the show, its characters, & more. The wiki is a part of Wikia and was created with the help of a team of volunteers from around the world.

The wiki is a free and open source encyclopedia. Its mission is to provide an accurate and up-to-date guide for all aspects of the show. The wiki covers the storyline of the main series, including its characters, plots, & more. It also has articles about the background of the show, and the creators behind it. It is written in English, and is a sister site of Wikipedia.

The show follows Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a shy & clumsy high school student who is gifted with magical powers by a mysterious gilded angel named Tikki. Marinette transforms into the superhero Ladybug with her partner Cat Noir to fight the evil demon Hawk Moth & other supervillains in Paris. But, her daily life as a normal teen isn’t easy – homework, school, bullies & dating her classmate Adrien Agreste are just some of the challenges she has to face.

When a Ladybug holder activates their Lucky Charm power, by throwing the object in the air and saying the transformation phrase “Ladybug on!” or “Cat Noir off!”, it transforms into a swarm of magic ladybugs that have the ability to restore any damage caused by a supervillain attack or by the hero’s own Cataclysm. This also repairs any damage to the hero’s Ladybug or Cat Noir costume.

Similarly, when a Ladybug holder uses their Miracle Power to create a new costume, they can choose which of the Ladybug’s body parts they want to use for the design. The most common body part used is the Ladybug’s head, but a torso, legs, wings, feet, and antennae can all be transformed as well.

The Ladybug (or ladybird) is a widespread family of small beetles called Coccinellidae. In North America, they are commonly called lady bugs. In Europe, they are typically referred to as ladybirds or lady beetles. They are distinguished by their conspicuous aposematic colors and patterns, which warn predators that they taste bad.

The Ladybug Miraculous was created thousands of years ago by an unnamed mage. Since then, it has been unified with the Mouse, Dragon, Bee, Horse, Rabbit, Cat, and Dragon Bug Miraculous to form the Multibug, Dragon Ladybug, Bee Ladybug, Pegabug, and Pennybug. The earrings are currently owned by Marinette Dupain-Cheng, who transforms into the superhero Ladybug. They were previously used by Alya Cesaire who became Scarabella, and later by Adrien Agreste who transformed into Mister Bug. The show also revealed other parallel universes where the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous have been unified to become Monarch Bug.
